Skilled immigrants who satisfy the eligibility requirements for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSWP), Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program may complete an online Express Entry profile with their relevant details.

Express Entry
The demand for highly-skilled workers continues to grow across Canada and, therefore, on January 1, 2015, the Canadian government launched the Express Entry system for immigration to Canada.
Express Entry is an electronic Canadian immigration system for skilled foreign workers that manages applications for a Permanent Resident (PR) Visa to Canada in a very FAST and EFFICIENT way for the following programs:
- Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program.
Foreign workers can also apply for the Provincial Nominees Program (PNP) through the Express Entry system or using the “traditional” application method.

Provincial Nominee Program
The Canadian government has worked out an agreement in which the local provinces can nominate immigrants wishing to settle in their locality for a Permanent Resident (PR) Visa to Canada. In order to obtain a PR Visa to Canada through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), you must first choose the province or territory where you wish to live and go through its nomination process. The province will then consider your application based on its needs and your genuine intention to settle there. In general, a skilled immigrant applying for immigration to Canada:
- must be at least 18 years of age;

- will usually need a certain amount of work experience;
- normally requires post-secondary education or training for the eligible occupation;
